Hey there.

Spring has been nice here (except for the unnerving high winds we experienced last night). We have recently moved onto our land and are busy enjoying the country and making progress with developing our homestead for which I am daily thankful.

Here's an idea you might want to try. I was driving down the road near our house and spotted a tree trimming truck chipping branches on the side of the road. I pulled over and asked a worker if they wouldn't mind delivering the loads to our property. I showed them the way and where to unload. They were grateful to have a place to unload their truck so close to their work area and I was ecstatic to get the wood chips. On a different note, there's an eye-opening new movie that's going to show in several theaters in America this Friday. It's called Amerigeddon: They've stolen our country; it's time to take it back. The Road to World War 3

I'm so glad I have hope and faith in the Master plan. If not, I would, no doubt, be very fearful and worry about many aspects of life. Keeping that in mind, I've been thinking a lot about how to be more productive, personally responsible, and self sufficient (from government programs and corporate monopolies, not from all human interaction; on the contrary, I believe we are created first for God, yes, but to have relationships as families and small communities.)

There are times when you see a threat on the horizon and are compelled to prepare for it; when informed people are sending out constant warning signals that something is very wrong and you need to brace yourself and get ready. Many people are so blinded and dazed by the smoke and fog of the program of mass deception that they need strong nudges in order to wake up. It's time to realize that things change. Nothing always stays the same; except the perverse nature of mankind and the righteous nature of God.

It's painful to think about our way of life (as bad as you think it is now) being turned upside down and getting worse, but I sense the need to stir people up to come fully alive. To think for themselves. We're bogged down. Not the strong, ruggedly independent, compassionate, clear-headed, God-fearing people we are supposed to be.

Do not be conformed any longer to this world. Follow God's (Yahweh's) ways and commands. He is our salvation and refuge. If you're not sure where to go or what to do, ask him; he will lead you. If he prompts you to store food during the "fat" times for the "lean" times, that may be his way of providing not only for your household, but for others he brings along your path. It is our responsibility to take proper precautions for the well being of our loved ones as well as others.

Please watch the video below which explains why we have been going to war with certain countries and who "runs the show." This and other sources of real information about what's going on in the world today will help you to begin to understand why and how to prepare for the coming hard times. 

Prepare physically as needed, but hold on to the things of this world with a loose grip. They are useful to us but temporarily and for God's purposes. Store up not for yourselves treasures on Earth, but treasures in Heaven/God's kingdom.

Well, here you go, folks. If you don't know what's going on in the world, allow me to give you the run-down with this short video from one of my favorite alternative news Youtube channels: SGT Report. I don't watch television, but I'm glad he is sharing these clips of the X-FILES that reveal what the "elites" of the world have been planning for many decades and are getting closer to enacting.

Don't buy the fiction that the mainstream media/news is selling, but begin to look and listen critically and you will recognize that there are some people who are trying to spell out the "true" reality for you; even if it is delivered by way of a "fictional" show.




I encourage you to know what's going on in the world. Most importantly, I urge you to seek the LORD, Yahweh, who is creator of all. Believe and trust in him who was sent (Jesus/Yeshua) and who has overcome the world, and live according to his ways. I can testify that he has made me a new creation (changed my heart and mind) and he teaches and guides me as I walk with him.

I hope all is well with you. I'm watching another great video today and want to recommend Reluctant Prepper's YouTube channel. In this video Joel Salatin is being interviewed and, as usual, he makes a very informed and engaging presentation.

Joel is best known for his knowledge and practice of true sustainable farming as well as clearly exposing the fallacies of industrialized food production from start to finish. This guy makes a lot of sense and helps our poor propagandized, modernized minds to see from a more realistic and simple perspective. He prompts us to question modern ideas and movements that promise to guide us into more environmentally friendly living and good health but instead leads us in the entirely wrong direction.

Have you read 1984?

Several months ago I was reminded of a book written in the 1940s entitled 1984. For years I've had a slightly nagging desire to read the book. Apparently, some people read it in school. Upon searching it out I found a 1956 movie based on the book. Admittedly, I have not read the book, but the movie was interesting enough and supposedly it is quite close to the book. Below is some information about 1984 as well as a video about some of the comparisons of 1984 to...well... 2015.

Can I Really Enjoy Simple Living?

Hello! It's been tough for me to sit down and write. So much on my mind and so many goals to reach. I really didn't intend for this blog to be consistently about heavy topics, but weighty matters are burdening my heart right now. I'm not fearful, but I am concerned about all of you out there. I trust God implicitly; I've known Him for a long time and He is faithful. I just feel that I have to share what's on my heart. Hopefully by now you know I have to keep it real.

It’s been over six years since I began composing my original Enjoy Simple Living website which has recently been converted to this blog. My desire was to draw people closer to our Creator and His ways and to help you get through challenges in order to come out stronger and wiser on the other side. 

I wrote transparently about my struggles with anxiety, marriage, parenting, stress, and my relationship with God and life in general. I had an inward sense that life and the world was getting too complicated, unnatural, entrapping. I yearned desperately to enjoy a simple life. 

I have learned, and continue to learn, much since then. The world has gotten drastically more complicated as well. Big things are happening. I can see it. People all over are talking about it and experiencing it. There are people in power who have figured out that if they can convince and program us to believe that freedom is dangerous, we will gladly give it up and embrace or go along with giving them worldwide control. 

Does that mean we should give up on simple living? I don't think so because I believe it is the way we were intended to live. It is the path down which God has led our family. We need to be productive, close to nature, quiet, and simple.

Just as I watched as the water gushed forth from our newly drilled well, my heart wells up with gratefulness, humility, and joy when I think of God's provision and greatness. It is through learning to trust Him during many years of my own gut-wrenching trials that I say that.

I may often use the term "hard times". I don't know just what will happen but I've been studying a lot of people who have a pretty good idea. I think we need to prepare. As Joseph stored grain during the seven fruitful years to prepare for the coming seven years of famine and as Noah obeyed the voice of God even though he was scoffed at by unbelievers and had never seen rain, this is the time to get ready. Prepare for a great depression, social instability, war, whatever. Just seek God, research and get prepared as best you can.

The devil doesn't take days off of work. Evil always seeks to triumph and I watch as the deluded masses of people flock to join the apparent victory; to be on the winning team and to learn to love their captors. But they will not taste victory nor freedom. It will be ever-illusive until Jesus returns. Only then will we know peace and freedom. I don't try to change people anymore (in my own strength). But I do try to speak the truth in love. I can't pry someone's eyes open, but God can remove the scales.
